Our Intermediate 1 swim class is designed for swimmers ages 3 and up who have already mastered their foundational water safety skills and are ready for more focused, technical instruction. In these swim lessons in Bend, Oregon, students begin building greater independence and confidence as they move beyond the basics in the water.

At this level, swimmers will continue to develop their freestyle and backstroke with minimal assistance, while also being introduced to the fundamentals of breaststroke and butterfly. With expert guidance and a supportive environment, it's a key step in helping kids progress toward mastering all four strokes.

Class ratio: 1 instructor per 4 swimmers – ensuring a focused, supportive learning environment.
